Never flown one but in my aircraft the FD also shows 8 degrees pitch up by default. I also use THR mode to give takeoff power which initially remains fixed. After takeoff the FD will then rise to whatever pitch attitude is required to hold the speed of approx V2+15. At thrust reduction we would engage Vnav or FLCH as desired and accelerate.

Which airplane do you fly? In the sim, pc24, pitch command does not change to match with target speed.
