I have received a rating on an EC120 and found it to be a very pleasant aircraft to fly until you dump the Hydraulics.
I would describe the cyclic force required as twice that of an AS350BA/B2. You have to push hard forward and right, and does not vary in pressure when you slow down for a run-on. I had to tighten my seat belt and brace my arm to stop me from being pushed out of the seat. I felt like I was going to bend the control tubes. The instructor believed this was normal for this type, but I feel this is excessive for such a light machine.
Could anyone with experience with multiple EC120s confirm that this is a normal trait?
