Elsewhere in war: Donald Trump said overnight that the U.S. has sent an “armada” of warships toward Iran “just in case.”

Reuters reports the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and several guided-missile destroyers will arrive in the Middle East in the coming days.

The U.S. president said he hopes he won’t have to use them … but renewed warnings to Tehran against killing protesters or restarting its nuclear program.
