tamu22 has mentioned there is apparently quite a bit of money on the line. Rumors on the easyjet line is that easyjet levies a €200m fine agains CAE over the cadet training delays. Which will probably translate in us using their simulator centers for free for the next few years. After all easyjet has a contract with CAE to get 200 fully trained MPL students each year, who are sorely needed and are currently replaced by hiring from the free market, mainly FTE Jerez or CAE ATPL for the european operation.
