Hi all
Sorry if this is a bit off the thread.
I'm asking for advice really. I'm deciding what to do when I leave school. I don't really want to go to uni as spending 4 years doing a degree that will only lead to me leaving with at least 10K debt and qualifications for a job I really wouldn't want to do seems a bit of a waste of time.
At the moment I can find funding to do pilot training (up to fATPL). Something I probably couldn't do after leaving uni. However, I don't know if the airlines would really look at me without any degree, and being only around 19-20 years old. I may take one year out, however any longer and you have the old problem of being out of the way of learningand it's harder to get back into.
I should say I do currently have my PPL and a really could set of exam results. But I don't know if this will be enough to carry me through.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
