Hi everyone,
Just getting back into my flying after a long time out, my class 2 expires in January so I'm going to need to renew it however I was wanting to take my class 1 medical just to be sure I could see the training through to the commercial side. Only issue is I'm not going to be leaving my current job for at least another 4-5 years and the thought of having to renew it every year for close to £200 is a bit silly to me. I was wondering if it's practical to get my class 1 for this year to know I can make the standard, then just go off my class 2 for the next 5 years and revalidate the class 1 when it comes to doing my CPL etc if that's possible? Would appreciate any help or advice
