you probably won’t see the ATHR FMA remain in a normal THR REF/CLB mode if the autothrust actually drives both engines to idle—the FMA normally follows what the autothrust is commanding (e.g., THR REF, THR IDLE) rather than the physical lever position — so if the system senses the engines at idle and transitions to idle logic (slats/gear down or speed/alt constraints), the FMA will show the corresponding THR IDLE indication even if the levers are still sitting in the climb gate;
