A330 eng1(2) thr lever fault

Assuming EIVMU available and failure on descent. With ATHR engaged expect thrust to idle with slats extended or gear down. As engine runs to idle, with both thrust levers still in climb detent, is it correct to assume there will be no change to ATHR FMA? (Engine is operative, but at idle thrust). Regards thrust lever management, bringing failed thrust lever to the idle position should also not generate a change to FMA either. Checking I have this correct, or have I misread FCOM and should expect a LVR ASYM indication.
