the 90 mins rule applies to my current airline as well those before and I think it is perfectly fair, only on a BDO have a rushed over from EU to get to UK for a flight and to be honest it just feels rushed, for the family, company and operation so I am happy with that. I would either hotel or work out accommodation. All about the easy life.
Perfect, 10k on top makes sense, are there any bonus schemes? Shares? Do you collect points when dead heading? Pension contributions?
Probably a bit piece of string, but any estimates for the 6x 777s arriving? Do you think they are sufficiently crewed now or will need bodies for these deliveries? Any company murmurs.
With regards to leave, are you able to spread the leave across the 12 months to provide more time home, I am not work shy just thinking it could help the balance.
Are there any fixed roster patterns? I understood (maybe for the B757) that the setup was length of trip equals, half the trip plus 2 days. 8 day trip is worth 6 days free. 12 gives you 8.
From the guys I have flown with they are all a good bunch and it comes across that hiring is much the old style of, can I spend 12 hours next to this person? Of course only part of it but an important one.
50 days leave is a solid innings.
