I can really relate. I used to fly quite a bit, I even got to meet a few Ppruners in person!! One was Pinkster and also Papa-Charlie, Thumpandgo, plus a few others. In March 2013 I flew as a passenger in a power glider. I had complete confidence in the pilot, but he was 82 years old! We crashed upon landing. Yes, I survived but he died 5 days later. I did suffer quite a number of injuries and now spend my time in a wheel chair.
At one time I was a flight instructor and had a CPL. I have no memory of the accident, but lots of scary pictures. I used to post regularly here at Pprune, but those days are also over.
Not only do I miss the flying, but I also used to teach dancing.
Oh well, I keep saying God just didn't want me yet!
Keep on flying as long as you can!!
