Well, I'm a french student pilot, and untill a few month ago I intended to go to the UK to do my training. A lot of people told me, "don t you go there unless you never want to fly a Fox taile".
nevertheless, I called the DGAC, asked for the person in charge of licencing and told me the following :
- if you go to the UK and pass your licences there, if you want to go back to france you have to go via the DGAC. If the training was done 100% with a Golf taile, there is normally no probleme for the validation. For those who would have done a part of the training in a non JAR country (like the US, for exemple), then the result in quite unsure, and they should revalidate their licences within a french FTO.
