I am currently saving up for the UK Scheme Ab Initio at Bartolini Air, which is 67.000 Eur for those residing in the UK and willing to work there for the next 5 years. Looking to start my training at the end of next year.
After reading some of the posts here it looks like you have to pay for your own type rating which seems to be around 30.000 eur ???. From what i have read on their official website it says that ryanair themselves Quote from the brochure they sent me " Ryanair Future Flyer Academy students receive a Conditional Job Offer upon enrolment and
are eligible for a Boeing 737 type rating course funded by the airline subject to a training agreement".
It could be that b4 you had to pay for the type rating but now they have decided to fund it?? Maybe, who knows.
I will talk to them and keep you guys updated. Also i still need to do my rynaair assesment, I will let you know also how that goes.
Also, can any previous student of bartolini tell how their training went, in terms of instructors, how many days you had to attend the training centre, and what about the accomodation, will we have find our own or will they help you in finding one? Thnanks
