Any Apple numbers app experts ?

Hi all,
as per the title, any Apple numbers app experts out there ? I’ve used a basic excel spreadsheet for my logbook for years, then went to a Mac and used same file but via open office, now going to iPad only and want to use the numbers app to continue the logbook. I can export it as a numbers file off open office and open in numbers most of it works fine.
first question, how do I format a whole column so it’s just date ie dd/mm/yyyy ?
similar for q2, how do I format a whole column for just hh:mm for take off and landing time ?
then the more tricky one. I had one column for take, one column for landing next column for flight time. In excel I’ve used the equations of
=if(k3707-k3707>};(k3707-j3707);(k3707-j3707)+1)
where j3707 is take off time, k3707 landing time to calculate over midnight eg take off 2300 land 0400. It works fine in excel generating correct time but on the iPad numbers app, any flight overlapping midnight just returns a 10 or so digit number. Baffled.

anyone any ideas please ?
