I suspect they are a few years off launching anything so far away. They don't even do Egypt yet.
The issue with Cape Verde for Jet2 would be bed availability. Tui control most of the hotel capacity on the islands through Riu. A historically close partnership and contracts that have now been in place for many years. It’s one of the few places where Tui pretty much have a monopoly. BVC more so than SID, which I imagine is why easyJet got in there. When more hotels open up, especially in BVC is when you might see new players in that market. As for now though I can’t see that changing in the near future.
Egypt and Tunisia will happen before any launch by Jet2 to Cape Verde IMHO.
