It amazes me the amount of consideration some of you are giving the Iranians. Perhaps if they chanted Death to the UK for the last 46 years, your attitude towards yesterday’s events might be different. A little history lesson. The U.S./Allied development of the Atomic bomb during WWII was initiated by pleas from prominent scientists in Europe that Hitler was trying to develop an Atomic weapon. How far into its development was unknown, but the Allies couldn’t Hope, cross their fingers, pray, hug a teddy bear etc, they had to try and beat the Germans in obtaining an Atom Bomb. So we did. Of course after the war, with all the intelligence we gathered, the naysayers will state, the Germans or Japanese were never close, we shouldn’t have used it, etc etc. Hindsight is a luxury. I can only imagine what Iran would do with a nuclear device, but if they do get one and use it, the same folks ridiculing Trump would be pleading why we didn’t do anything to stop the Iranians….how anyone can defend that regime is baffling to me given their track record.
