The Military Division of The King's Birthday Honours List 2025

As an addendum, both the retired senior officers who are now the Lieutenant Governors of Guernsey and Jersey respectively have both been advanced to Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire KBE, namely:

Lieutenant General Richard John Cripwell CB, CBE. For services to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, and

Vice Admiral Jeremy Kyd CBE, For Services to the Bailiwick of Jersey and the Royal Navy.

Particularly pleasing to see the latter, recalling his role as the first Commanding Officer of HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH.
