Takes away a reason why Luton needs a second terminal, as Stansted could accommodate future demand north of London and so improve future air traffic control congestion.
Even if Luton doesn't get a second terminal, don't expect traffic to reduce. If anything it will still increase due to better runway utilization with other runway improvements and the likes of Harrods having a bigger operation at Luton and Universal & Inflight needing possible new homes..
