Emirates' own timetable confirms the current schedule of EK21, EK17 and EK19 being the only DXB-MAN daily services at the moment... all A380 equipment.
As mentioned above, it is QR who have recently increases their DOH-MAN to 4x daily on some days of the week week. The rumoured EK increase to 4x daily.in winter could be seen as a response to QR, although looks to be at a different time of day.
The confusion I suspect is that Emirates have introduced the the NEW soft product on the 4 class mid afternoon rotation ( the one offered to the premier destinations including New York, Heathrow and Paris ) .
Clear indication Manchester IS a very significant city for Emirates.
The fourth flight will further enhance that. AND increase cargo capacity at the same time .
