AFAIK the rostering now works with CrewBids/InterBids so there is a way to give preferences. Pilot shortage as is the case everywhere leads to the requests not being super reliable probably. Strikes that happened were due to a multitude of factors (some legal issues as well with the company refusing to correctly pay its employees). They don't have a fixed roster system like ryanair 5 on 4/5 off, the most of the time you'd see a 4/5/6 on with 2/3/4 off on a 100% roster. Time to command is pretty short as I understand because of the huge outflow of experienced pilots to other companies (Sub 5 yrs). Let me know if you need more info
