I hold an ATP TC in Canada.
Back a few years ago, I followed a full initial type rating course on A320 in Europe.
I sent all my training records, a copy of the EASA examiner's license and medical plus all the Training organisation's and the simulator certificates to TC.
The EA32 (A320) has been added onto my TC Canada without any issue.
Note, that at the time I was not holding a EASA License.
So yes, it is possible.
