I decided to let the lazy reporting pass without comment - HMS Belfast was/is indeed a cruiser and my late Grandfather's ship.

I did think that when I saw the people who had been selected, but on the other hand the list does include people such as nurses, firefighters, a codebreaker, and someone who helped repair bomb damage, underlining the fact that the whole country was involved. Also non white people served - this should celebrated. The problem is there are only a limited number of stamps.
