Yeah, TC can be really slow with this stuff. They usually don’t recognize EASA type ratings automatically. Even if the training is solid, you’ll likely need to do a Canadian PPC with a TC inspector or approved check pilot to use it back here.
If you’re flying overseas and don’t need it on your Canadian license, you might be fine. But for TC to endorse it, they want to see training details, proof it meets CARs, and usually sign off before you do it.
Best bet is to follow up with TC HQ, not just Ontario region
