Cost Cutting measures
Why not using the C130 and then give everybody a one time
use only parachute. Overfly the destination and drop the PAX
so they can save the landing fees. According to the EU they
have to expect that they pay them in the future and that hurts.
From the financial fiew I dont think it is a good idea to equip the
Aircraft without those essentials. If you want to sell it one day
You will get less for it if You dont have those specs....
If the PAX has to carry on the Baggage then there will be other
serious issues arrising: Security will get basarc with sizzors and
knives carried in the bags who should be loaded in the baggage
compartment. I am shure MOL will implement another fee soon
to cover this extra handling. At the end of the day I just wait and
see when the total travel cost are higher then with a major AL
like BA, AF, LH ie. because they use major Aiports only and You
can travel from point to point with a fair treatment and clean
Aircrafts. When the public start to think then MOL has stoped
himself by his own success.
