Airbus tends to remove a lot of information from the FCOM. That’s why I always keep a copy of all the FCOM I have since I started. Maybe the risk of fuel leak during engine start is so slim that they removed the procedure? Flying IAE engines for over 10 years I never heard of a case of fuel leak during engine start. I can confirm the procedure is also removed in my FCOM. Anyway as mentioned above, if fuel is leaking from the drain, I would keep it simple and just call maintenance. Maintenance will call you first anyway and tell you to shut down or wait 5 minutes if that’s still a procedure.
I had a leak during engine start a couple of years ago on an A320 with CFM . I did as a knew for the CFM which exists in the FCOM .
