Got caught in freezing rain once in Germany, clear screen to iced up in seconds - fortunately a rapid 180 got us out again quickly - scary stuff.
The problem with icing conditions is that the forecast can meet the criteria Shy mentions with no icing or not meet the criteria with significant icing present. It's only a forecast after all (unless you have an in flight report to back it up).
