I would also look at Warnervale (Central Coast Aero Club). I presume if Camden is too far, Warnervale may be an alright option. With Western Sydney coming alive, I'm not sure what's going to happen to flight training in Bankstown.
I've done a couple of AFR's at Warnervale and now the Council has pulled their head out of their asre regarding charging visiting aircraft outrageous fees, would wholeheartedly recommend them.
They're a small and close-knit team will likely give you a far more personalised training approach than any of the sausage factories and it'll likely end up cheaper overall as you aren't wasting valuable time taxiing or flying to the training area.
