I fly here in the NY and NJ area where all these drone reports are being made. There are zero credible sightings. It's all Billybobs and Karens making random reports and videoing airplanes and helicopters 99% of the time. No pilots and/or controllers have seen any of those drones that people are all of a sudden finding everywhere. If you’ll excuse a foreigners POV Ref your last para I guess keeping this “hot” means money for the media/viewing figures/clicks/, as far as the politicians go I suspect it’s just an excuse to continue to bash the outgoing administration, or those connected with it such as some in the FBI.
