In en route you sit down nearly all the time. If you can see any of the windows from your seat you are not encouraged to look out of them, but look at the screens pretty much all the time.
Training is similar for both - theory and simulation; and if you pass those, then on the job training.

I appreciate the insight - I’ve had a look online at the main differences obviously, was just keen to hear more about it in an Australian context, considering the choice now will impact your whole career.
