Engagement freeze is 5(?) years. You can bid for A320 command (at euroflyer LGW or mainline LHR) whenever you like but don't count on it until your freeze is finished. Seniority for A320 command is currently very very very low.
If you want the A320 command faster it is best to get hired onto the A320 fleet not widebody.
City flyer is a different company flying embraers out of LCY airport. Their pilots aren't mixed in with BA and BAEF.
