To be fair though it doesn’t matter if you’ve done 10 years as an ATR TRE you are still going to have to bite the bullet and be an FO if you want to move to a mid size jet
look at aer lingus mainline, guys with thousands of hours jet time, having to join as an FO and spend prob 7 years on average to start from scratch again, ryanair was a no brainer while the offers were good, money is very good on offer too, and no more direct entry going forward for years now they announced.
Coming back to Emerald, the days are very nice and nothing like the long days on jets etc, everybody gets on well with everyone, know all the guys including ground crew, office crew etc, bigger salary jobs will obviously attract people elsewhere, but quality of life is much nicer here imo.
