In short, the consideration of glass time during training/time building is minimal. Especially if you're not angling to go from CPL straight into the airlines (which extremely few people can do in Canada), you're realistically looking at instructing or flying up north. Neither of which are known (in Canada) for providing the most up-to-date glass cockpit experiences, outside of a few stand-out operators.

The more relevant aspects that people here look for is prior experience and the kind of flying done, especially when it comes to airlines.

The only exception is if you're applying to somewhere that flies the same combination of glass cockpit plus airplane you used in training, as that combination may imply (to the person hiring) you may require less training. That, like getting to the airlines fresh out of school, is an option for vanishingly few people however.
