If the TV is connected to the Sky box with an HDMI lead then those leads can be quite long. I'd guess 5 to 10m wouldn't be a problem and I've read that 20m is possible.

If the coax leads are from a satellite dish then they can be joined to an extension cable using F-Type couplers.
