a simulator can not reproduce somatogravic illusion.
It's true that simulator cannot but even in real aircraft go round doesn't produce Somatogravic illusion. A pilot who flies by instruments never realises it. It's only when pilot tries to manoeuvre pitch by feeling and not by instruments the monster of illusion gets in. The PM rarely is the victim of SI because he is monitoring instruments. Landing is a visual manoeuvre but go round is not which is instrument flying. Moment you hit TOGA pilot should be on instruments. This failure to switch over causes the problem and that can be emphasized in simulator. I am sure you haven't experienced SI unless you had closed your eyes.
