If they've been ready to fly 'since August' why all the massive efforts to rebuild the chopsticks and replace thermal tiles that we have seen since then? Were they really ready to go without any of this done?

Or is the startement a weasel-worded one that says the rocket was ready to fly but omits to mention that the tower wasn't ready to catch it?

Just surmising...as one sometimes must do in the other-reality of Musk-world.
