Please note - I didn't apply, although its a dream to fly, I have a career and young kids now, I couldn't take the time off work unfortunately (and then be based near London). Over 15 years ago since I first posted on these forums...wow.

I have heard of one or two who are also older than me so definitely don't rule it out due to your age!
In relation to the kiddies - I have 2 young kids and the guilt is real! However...I have a great support network and my husband's work allows for some flexibility from him thankfully! I'm under no illusions about just how hard this is going to be but I'm all in and my kids are super excited for mummy to be a pilot
