I see Sierra your profile says 37 (I'm a few years older at 40). I always assumed my age would be a factor, I appreciate not on paper but it's good to see someone of 37 make it.
Please note - I didn't apply, although its a dream to fly, I have a career and young kids now, I couldn't take the time off work unfortunately (and then be based near London). Over 15 years ago since I first posted on these forums...wow.
Pleased to say I was accepted, and I'm rapidly approaching 40. I know one person in their early 50s who has also been accepted.
