Damn, that's a hefty amount. I think I'm around £2.5 to £3k in the hole now. I travelled from a lot closer than Australia but with flights, accommodation and having take time off work it added up pretty quickly. More than worth it if given the nod but it does add another factor to it all when feeling disheartened like this.
