Bases and salary are on PPJN. ELLX is not one of them, near to there it’s only German bases.
The process is
1. online application - you’re asked to provide a couple of essays.
2. then there’s the online assessments that you should practice before attempting and a psychometric test that you can’t practice.
3. Online interview - nothing difficult just a chat to see if you fit and the job fits you. You’ll be expected to answer some competence based questions, learn how to do this and have some examples prepared.
4. Assessment centre, 2 more interviews a group exercise and a sim ride.

None of it is hard, but you need to prepare. If you don’t get through then there’s a good chance the job is not right for you.

Now that I’ve wasted my time reposting that which has already been said many times, can I direct you and your mate to the aforementioned threads where you will not waste your time taking a look at some of the fairly useful information that will help him prepare should he decide to apply?
Not to get too much into an argument with anyone, but actually it changed a little bit this time (I applied and failed on the panel last year, so trying again now). The first stage after applying is very different, but not super difficult if you have done your research. Although I've not had my feedback on this yet, so who knows 😂
