Ah ok. I had a chat with pilot recruitment and they emphasised it is 'up to' 200 spaces. There is a certain standard that candidates need to hit on the assessment days to get the funding. So even though there is budget for 200, hypothetically many less might actually get it due how it is assessed.
Absolutely right, although you'd hope that the process has whittled it down to people who will almost definitely at least hit the required standard!
