Completely agree with clarkey's reply. If you're advancing further than PPL then just leave your EASA PPL as is, and continue with CPL training back in the UK. Your PPL is ICAO so it will be approved for a CPL course.
Hopefully you already have your hour building done, otherwise that adds a new spanner in the works!
