In general, you will need 2 things: the Canadian licence (to fly in Canada), and the right to work.
The license portion is straightforward, but time consuming. Here's a starting point:

The right to work is a bit more complicated, as you would need to apply for a visa. You can start by looking at the
IRCC website. The visa process depends on the specific visa you apply for.
I am not aware of any employers in Canada that currently provide sponsorships, which means you need to have your license conversion completed before you can be considered for a job. Once you've got your license though, there are lots of places that are presently hiring which would definitely consider command experience on airline-sized planes a bonus.
