UK v USA training

Hello!

I am a dual (US-UK) citizen PPL holder living in the UK and I have dilemma...

I am looking to get my commercial flight training done and know that the US is the most cost effective and being in my situation, it seems like a no brainer, given the benefits and pay the US pilots are getting right now.

The problem is the 1500 hr rule and not being able to work for the airlines on a frozen over there (meaning i'll be building hours for some time on lower pay)

Would it make sense to train here in the UK, get to the airlines and rack up my hours on better pay, then once unfrozen, start the conversion process? (from CAA-FAA)

Might take a while, but I'll have the added benefit of both licenses

Let me know!

definitely private message so we can talk more on this, thanks!!
