With the recent unrest at QF and the calls for the Chairman and the board to go, is it time for Swire to step back and relinquish the same? Looking at some past actions, it would not be unreasonable to see changes at the top. Some examples of the toxicity include:
- Imposition of COS 18 leading to low staff retention
- Current recruitment issues due to contract
- Staff disengagement
- Directors bonuses exceeding that of pre covid-19 levels
- Airlines inability to meet growth target's
- Closure of a brand that was its conduit for Chinese routes
In almost any other country there would have been calls for the board to resign, but Patrick is still happily taking his millions. The biggest joke is that CX are not even a majority shareholder, but has exclusive rights to appoint executives.
