These guys would do well to remember the examples of others such as AV8 Air - burning so much cash in the pre-start phase that you can’t meet the CAA financial fitness requirements (what the CAA demand, not what you think they might ask for) as your funding available is dropping at the precise time you need to hit a target.
Is it not the case that one would first require an OL in order to request slots - or can it be done pre-emptively? You do have to worry about an ATR operator in the current climate though - if the established players are struggling, what's in store for a newcomer?
