Remember though if you do your PPL in Europe, you can't fly in the UK! Your new EASA PPL license isn't valid there. You have to convert it to UKCAA AFTER you have flown 100 hours.
You can fly in UK airspace in an EASA reg aircraft, you just can't fly a G-reg aircraft in UK airspace without doing the 100hrs + validation route.
