As an Australian you have two options.
1) train in Oz, spend a fortune then years going from operator to operator trying to get a GA job to build hours, being poor for the next decade and maybe one day getting into a jet.
2) train in the US, spend less money then work as a CFI for 2 years and get an E3 airline job flying jets as soon as you hit 1500 hours.
