I once had, in this order, ambulance, police, and fire engine (one of each) turn up as I was starting to derig a glider after a completely uneventful field landing. They took quite a lot of persuading to go away. I had to explain to each crew, in detail, that my glider did not have an engine and that the wings and tailplane were supposed to be removable. The farmer was not best pleased when the fire engine blocked the lane while he was trying to put the cows back in the neighbouring field after milking.
