Maximum excess Power vs. Thrust
Hi all,
So, have been through the GS material on the Climb Performance and the related Maximum excess Power vs. Thrust. Still seriously confused.
Anybody a better explanation or a link to a more easier to understand video please?
Especially when climbing using Vx, I would say that is where I need more thrust the most, i.e. reduce the throttle and one would stall, right?
So, contrary to the explanations, the gap between the thrust required and thrust available is the smallest and NOT the greatest (in my confused-understanding). Or what am I missing?
Any hints?
