Looking at the tracking data the BA A320 that was crew training briefly came away from circuits to orbit the accident site as mentioned above, which can be seen here:

Presumably to help emergency services locate the aircraft in the immediate aftermath? Either way, it's nice to see the BA crew try and help in whatever capacity they can. Hoping for a good outcome for the people who were on board the PA-28.
