One question that remains to be answered is who is going to pay back.
If Ukraine is supported to the point of regaining all it's territory, then there will be substantial oil, gas and other reserves that it will have sole access to. There is sufficient value in these natural reserves to more than pay back any such loans.

Western countries that are supporting Ukraine should be going all out to ensure that Ukraine wins so that those riches are made available to the democratic West (and are doubtless hoping - indeed, expecting - to be involved in their exploitation).

There will also be huge opportunities for Western countries to benefit from the rebuilding and redevelopment of Ukraine - and probably not just those areas devastated by russia's terrorism.

It would seem to be a win-win for the West to support Ukraine to the hilt, militarily, politically and economically.
